ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING OF THE SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO
COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The Adjourned Regular Meeting of the Board of Directors of the San Juan Capistrano
Community Redevelopment Agency was called to order by Mayor Jones at 7:00 p.m., in
the City Council Chamber to conduct a joint public hearing with the City Council
relative to the 1992-97 Fiscal Budget.

Gil Jones, Vice Chairman
Jerry Harris, Director
Gary L. Hausdorfer, Director
Jeff Vasquez, Director
ABSENT: None
STAFF PRESENT: Stephen B. Julian, Executive Director; Thomas Tomlinson, Deputy
Director; Cheryl Johnson, Agency Secretary; David Bentz, Finance Officer; George
Scarborough, Assistant City Manager; William Huber, Director of Building and
Engineering Services; Ronald Sievers, Director of Public Lands and Facilities; Al King,
Director of Community Services.
PUBLIC HEARINGS
1. JOINT PUBLIC HEARING - ADOPTION OF THE FISCAL BUDGET FOR THE
FIVE YEARS BEGINNING JULY 1 1992 AND ENDING JUNE 30 1997

Written Communications:
Report dated June 30, 1992, from the Assistant City Manager, recommending
adoption of the operating budget.
Public Hearing:
Notice having been given as required by law, Mayor Jones opened the Joint Public
Hearing and the following person responded:
1. Michael Hoy, Principal of San Juan Elementary School, 31642 E1 Camino Real,
spoke on behalf of the San Juan Community Task Force and indicated that the
Task Force was interested in assuming the graffiti abatement program from
the City.
There being no further response, Mayor Jones closed the Public Hearing with the
right to re -open at any time.
Directors Friess and Hausdorfer commended staff for their efforts in preparing the
budget.

Adoption of Operating Budget:
It was moved by Chairman Friess, seconded by Director Hausdorfer that the
following Resolution be adopted:
RESOLUTION NO. CRA 92-6-30-1 - ADOPTION OF FISCAL
BUDGET - 1992-97 - A RESOLUTION OF THE SAN JUAN
CAPIS RANO COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY,
ADOPTING A FIVE-YEAR FISCAL PROGRAM AND OPERATING
BUDGET AND AUTHORIZING EXPENDITURES AND
APPROPRIATIONS RELATED THERETO
The motion carried by the following vote:
AYES: Directors Hausdorfer, Jones, Harris,
Vasquez, and Chairman Friess
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: None
ABSENT: None
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned at 7:35
p.m., to the next regular meeting date of Tuesday, July 7, 1992, at 7:00 p.m., in the City
Council Chamber.
