REGULAR MEETING OF THE BAN JUAN CAPISTRANO
COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The Regular Meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of San
Juan Capistrano Redevelopment Agency was called to order by
Chairman Friess at 10:11 p.m. in the City Council Chamber.
ROLL CALL: PRESENT: Kenneth E. Friess, Chairman
Gary L. Hausdorfer, Vice Chairman
Anthony L. Bland, Director
Lawrence P. Buchheim, Director
Phillip R. Schwartze, Director
ABSENT: None
STAFF PRESENT: Stephen B. Julian, Executive Director; Thomas G.
Merrell, Deputy Director; George Scarborough, Assistant City
Manager; David Bentz, Finance Officer; John R. Shaw, City
Attorney; William D. Murphy, Director of Public Works; Thomas L.
Baker, Director of Community Services; Cheryl Johnson, Deputy City
Clerk; Nancy Bernardi, Recording Secretary.
MINUTES
Regular Meeting of April 3 1990:
It was moved by Director Buchheim, seconded by Director
Hausdorfer, that the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of April 3,
1990, be approved as submitted. The motion carried by the
following vote:
AYES: Directors Bland, Buchheim,
Hausdorfer, and Chairman Friess
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: Director Schwartze
ABSENT: None
BOARD ACTIONS
1. APPROVAL OF WARRANTS {300.30)
It was moved by Director Hausdorfer, seconded by Director
Bland, and unanimously carried to approve the List of Demands
dated April 5, 1990, in the total amount of $173,215.72.

CLOSED SESSION
The Board recessed to the Council meeting at 20:12 p.m. and
reconvened in Closed Session at 10:30 p.m. for discussion of
property acquisition matters regarding the San Juan Saloon and
Kinoshita Farms, the Deputy City Clerk being excused therefrom,
and reconvened at 11:15 p.m.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was
adjourned at 11:15 p.m. to the next regular meeting date of
Tuesday, May 1, 1990, at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chamber.
