REGULAR MEETING OF THE SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO
COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The Regular Meeting of the Board of Directors of the San Juan
Capistrano Community Redevelopment Agency was called to order by
Chairman Hausdorfer at 7:30 p.m., in the City Council Chamber.
ROLL CALL PRESENT: Gary L. Hausdorfer, Chairman
Phillip R. Schwartze, Vice Chairman
Anthony L. Bland, Director
Lawrence F. Buchheim, Director
Kenneth E. Friess, Director
ABSENT: None
STAFF PRESENT: Stephen B. Julian, Executive Director; Thomas G.
Merrell, Deputy Director; Mary Ann Hanover, Agency Secretary;
Robert G. Boone, Finance Officer; William D. Murphy, Director of
Public Works; James S. Okazaki, City Attorney; Cheryl Johnson,
Recording Secretary.
MINUTES
Regular Meeting of March 20, 1984:
It was moved by Director Buchheim, seconded by Director Friess
that the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of March 20, 1984, be
approved as submitted. The motion carried by the following vote:
AYES: Directors Friess, Bland, Buchheim,
and Chairman Hausdorfer
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: Director Schwartze
ABSENT: None
BOARD ACTIONS
1. APPROVAL OF WARRANTS
(68.41) It was moved by Director Schwartze, seconded by Director
Friess and unanimously carried to approve the List of
Demands dated April 3, 1984, Warrant Register No. 84-101, in
the total amount of $17,407.72.

2. REDEVELOPMENT PLAN AMENDMENT 83-1,
SAN JUAN SCHOOL (ORAL REPORT)
(68.68) The Deputy Director made an oral report on a meeting held
late last week with leaders of the PTA group regarding the
San Juan School issue. He advised that the group was formed _
to attempt to persuade the School Board to preserve and
maintain the facility as a school in perpetuity. He noted
the group has tentatively scheduled a meeting for Thursday,
April 12, at one of the local schools; and, at the
invitation of the group, staff will make a presentation.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was
adjourned at 7:35 p.m., to the next meeting date of Tuesday,
April 17, 1984, at 7:00 p.m., in the City Council Chamber.
