REGULAR MEETING OF THE SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO
COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
BOARD OF THE DIRECTORS
The Regular Meeting of the Board of Directors of the San Juan
Capistrano Community Redevelopment Agency was called to order by
Chairman Bland at 7:50 p.m., in the City Council Chamber.
ROLL CALL PRESENT: Anthony L. Bland, Chairman
Gary L. Hausdorfer, Vice Chairman
Lawrence F. Buchheim, Director
Kenneth E. Friess, Director
Phillip R. Schwartze, Director
ABSENT: None
STAFF PRESENT: Stephen B. Julian, Executive Director; Thomas G.
Merrell, Deputy Director; Bob Boone, Acting Finance Officer;
William D. Murphy, Director of Public Works; James S. Okazaki,
City Attorney; Cheryl Johnson, Deputy Agency Secretary/Recording
Secretary.
MINUTES
Regular Meeting of February 1, 1983:
It was moved by Director Hausdorfer, seconded by Director Friess
that the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of February 1, 1983, be
approved as submitted. The motion carried by the following vote:
AYES: Directors Friess, Hausdorfer, and
Buchheim
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: Director Schwartze and Chairman Bland
ABSENT: None
BOARD ACTIONS
1. STATUS REPORT - PRELIMINARY REDEVELOPMENT PLAN
(68.68) Written Communications:
Report dated March 1, 1983, from the Deputy Director,
forwarding a copy of the Preliminary Redevelopment
Plan, which identifies the project boundaries of the
Survey Area previously designated by the City Council.
The report advises that staff will initiate preparation
of an Environmental Impact Report, legal description of
the project area, and list of residential owners,
tenants, businesses, and organizations within the area.

With the concurrence of the Board, Chairman Bland
ordered the report received and filed.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was
adjourned at 7:54 p.m., to the next regular meeting date of
Tuesday, March 15, 1983, at 7:00 p.m., in the City Council
Chamber.
