HOUSING ADVISORY COMMITTEE
REGULAR MEETING
A. ORGANIZATION
1. CALL TO ORDER: 3:00 p.m. – City Council Chamber
2. ROLL CALL: Chair Nancy Campman-Crofts, Vice Chair Joanne Marquez and
Committee Member Laura Freese
3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Chair Campman-Croft led the Pledge of Allegiance.
B. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS:
None.
C. CONSENT CALENDAR:
None.
D. PUBLIC HEARINGS:
1. Consideration of Rent Control (RC) 16-001, El Nido Mobile Home Estates. A
challenge of a proposed $403/month rent increase for each unit of El Nido Mobile
Home Estates, located at 27703 Ortega Highway (Assessor Parcel Number: 650-
621-01) filed by the El Nido Mobile Home Estates Steering Committee.
Jeff Ballinger, City Attorney provided the Committee Members with a brief
overview of their duties and responsibilities. Laura Stokes, Committee Secretary,
made the staff presentation and responded to questions.
Bruce Stanton, representative of the El Nido Steering Committee spoke on the
item.
Committee Member Freese made a motion, seconded by Vice-Chair Member
Marquez to recommend support of all findings, conclusions, and
recommendations made by the Hearing Officer to the City Council. The motion
passed by a 3-0 vote

Member Freese
