SUBJECT: Cultural Heritage Commission Action Minutes of June 26, 2012
This memorandum summarizes the actions taken by the Cultural Heritage Commission
at their Tuesday, June 26, 2012 meeting. No action is required unless the City Council
wishes to hold special review of an item.

Ilse Byrnes, 30500 Hilltop Way, and Jerry Nieblas, San Juan Capistrano, spoke in
opposition of the illegally installed dinosaur structure at Zoomar's.

2 Meeting of June 26, 2012
_Consideration of the Proposed Conceptual Development Plan for the Bias
Aguilar Adobe Nature Education Facility (NEF) Grant Project (CIP No.
07403) (Project Manager: William Ramsey, AICP, Assistant Director).
Commissioner Siegel made a motion seconded by Commissioner Gildea to
accept the conceptual development plan for the Blas Aguilar Adobe Nature
Education Facility Grant Project. The motion passed unanimously.
AYES: Chair deHaan, Vice -Chair Banda, Commissioners, Gildea, Siegel,
and Porter.
NOES: None.
ABSTAIN: None.
INFORMATION ITEM
None.
COMMISSION/STAFF COMMENT
Commissioner Porter inquired about the status of the dinosaur structure at Zoomar's
and staff responded. Chair deHaan inquired about the status of the Williams/Swanner
House proposal by Hamilton Oaks Vineyards and staff responded.

Chair deHaan adjourned the meeting at 5:44 p.m
