CULTURAL HERITAGE COMMISSION
SPECIAL MEETING
A. ORGANIZATION:
1. CALL TO ORDER:
Chair Porter called the Regular Meeting of the Cultural Heritage Commission of
the City of San Juan Capistrano to order at 4:30 p.m. in the City Council
Chamber.
2. ROLL CALL:
Commissioners Present: Lorie Porter, Chair
Rhonda DeHaan, Vice -Chair
Mechelle Lawrence -Adams
Nathan Banda
Christie Smead
Commissioners Absent: None
STAFF PRESENT: Sergio Klotz, AICP, Acting Director
Nick Taylor, Associate Planner
Laura Stokes, Housing Coordinator/Assistant Planner
B. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS: None.
C. CONSENT CALENDAR:
None.
D. PUBLIC HEARINGS:
Continued Consideration of Site Plan Review (SPR) 15-007, Laux
Residence; a remodel of an existing residence which contributes to the
Los Rios Historic District, consisting of reroofing and repainting the
residence at 31631 Los Rios Street (APN: 121-142-14)(Applicant: Michael
Laux & Holly Repenn)(Project Manager: Laura Stokes, Housing
Coordinator/Assistant Planner).
Laura Stokes made the staff presentation and responded to questions
The Chairman opened the public hearing
Michael Laux spoke in support of the project.

The Chairman closed the public hearing.
Adoption of Motion
Commissioner Banda made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Smead
to approve the project. The motion passed by a 5-0 vote.
AYES: Chair Porter, Vice -Chair DeHaan, Commissioners Lawrence -
Adams, Banda and Smead.
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: None
