A. CALL TO ORDER:
Chair Banda called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.
B. PLEDGE:
Commissioner DeHaan led the Pledge of Allegiance.

E. CONSENT CALENDAR:
1. Approval of the Draft October 28, 2014, Meeting Minutes. Commissioner Bonney
made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Porter, to approve the minutes.
The motion passed by a 5-0 vote.

H. NEW BUSINESS:
1. Consideration of Mills Act Contract (MAC) 14-002, Olivares House,
Accessory Building, and River Street; a Request for Approval of a Mills
Act Contract for Property Located in the Los Rios Historic District at 31791
Los Rios Street (Applicant: Carolyn A. Franks)(Project Manager: Nick Taylor).
Sergio Klotz provided the staff report and recommended approval of a Mills Act Contract.
Sheree Ito, 31825 Los Rios Street, spoke regarding River Street ownership.
Commissioner Porter made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Bonney, to
continue the application until a building condition assessment has been provided by
the applicant, and recommending that the Mills Act Contract be revised to reflect
inclusion of only the portion of River Street owned by the applicant. The motion
passed by a 5-0 vote.

J. COMMISSION/STAFF DISCUSSION
1. Commissioner Siegel stated that the Historical Society will be open during the
Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony.
2. Chair Banda distributed information regarding the 4 Directions Education will be
honoring Elder Saginaw Grant on January 31 at EI Adobe Restaurant.
3. Commissioner DeHaan inquired about the O'Sullivan House.
4. Commissioner Porter stated that the Montanez Adobe will be open during the Tree
Lighting Ceremony and reported the Ghost Tours were a success.

There being no further business, the Chairman adjourned at 5:48 p.m. to the next regularly
scheduled meeting for Tuesday, January 27, 2014, at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers.
