1. Approval of the Draft April 22, 2014, Meeting Minutes. The April 22, 2014 Meeting
Minutes were approved.

H. NEW BUSINESS:
1. Consideration of Amendment to the Inventory of Historic and Cultural
Landmarks (IHCL 14-001). Father O'Sullivan House; a request for consideration
of the historic designation of 31442 El Camino Real, APN 124-202-28 (Applicant:
Jorge & Estella Puelma)(Project Manager. Nick Taylor, Associate Planner).
Commissioner Bonney made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Porter, to recommend
that the City Council amend the Inventory of Historic and Cultural Landmarks to add the
subject property, subject to the demolition or modification of the arbor and gate structure to
be reduced to a height equal to the existing front yard fence, and to encourage the property
owner to install a narrative plaque.
The motion passed by a 3-0 vote.
AYES: Commissioners Porter, DeHaan, and Bonney

2. Consideration of Mills Act Contract (MAC)14-001, Father O'Sullivan House; a
Request for Approval of a Mills Act Contract for Property Located in the Mission Hill -
Mission Flats Neighborhood at 31442 EI Camino Real (Applicant: Jorge & Estela
Puelma)(Project Manager: Nick Taylor, Associate Planner).
Commissioner Bonney made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Porter, to recommend
that the City Council to execute a Mills Act Contract for the subject property.
The motion passed by a 3-0 vote.

J. COMMISSION/STAFF DISCUSSION
• Commissioner Porter inquired about the status of potential repairs to the Montanez
Adobe.
• Director Charlie View provided a status update for the Urban Village Hotel project.
