reviewed the project details and materials, provided favorable comments to the staff
and San Juan Capistrano Open Space Foundation representatives, and received
and filed the report.
Architectural Control (AC) 09-004, San Juan Hills (Campanilla) (Glendale Federal
Area C-2); a request for review of proposed modifications to the wall and fence
plans for 132 detached condominiums located in Planning Subsector C-2 of the
Glendale Federal Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP 81-02), a portion of a
415 acre planned community located at the intersection of Camino Del Rio and
Vista Granada and located approximately 1600 feet south of San Juan Creek Road
and directly west of Via Entrada (APN: 666-451-54, 55, & 666-451-01, 02, & 20)
(Applicant: Taylor Morrison of CA, LLC; Representative: April Tornillo) (Project Manager: Nick
Taylor, Associate Planner).
Adoption of Motion
Commissioner Nunn made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Parkhurst, to
recommend Development Services Director approval of the proposed 5'-6" fence
height with 6'-0" pilasters but with no increase to the height of the approved gate
surrounds (porticos). The motion passed by a 3-1 vote.
