1 Approval of the Draft October 23, 2012 Meeting Minutes. On a motion duly -made and
seconded, the Commission approved the subject minutes as submitted.
2. Approval of the Draft November 27, 2012 Meeting Minutes. On a motion duly -made and
seconded, the Commission approved the subject minutes as submitted.

PC Action Minutes 2 January 8, 2013
Conditional Use Permit 12-14, Site Plan Review (SPR) 12-04, Zoomars; a request to amend
previously approved applications to authorize an existing Apatosaurus (dinosaur) statue and
to allow the development of accessory structures located at 31791 Los Rios Street
(Assessor Parcel Numbers- 121-160-17 & 20) (Project Manager: William Ramsey, AICP,
Assistant Director).
Adoption of Motions
Commissioner Cohen made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Nunn to continue
consideration of the proposed accessory structures, not including the Apatosaurus
(dinosaur) statue, to the February 12 meeting to allow the applicant sufficient time to submit
additional design details. The motion passed by a 6-0 vote.
Commissioner Cohen made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Ratcliffe, to direct staff to
prepare a resolution of denial for the proposed Apatosaurus (dinosaur) statue, said
resolution to be reviewed and considered for adoption at the January 22 meeting, based on
findings that the Apatosaurus (dinosaur) statue was inconsistent with the purpose and intent
of the Los Rios Specific Plan's "HU (Historic Commercial) Zone District and is inconsistent
with the permitted principal, conditional and accessory uses of that District. The motion
passed by a 4-2 vote (Parkhurst and Neely opposed).
Grading Plan Modification (GPM) 12-003, Mays Residence; Appeal of the Development
Services Director's Administrative Approval of a Grading Plan Modification located at 30752
Fox Run Lane (APN: 650-331-12) (Applicant: Robert Williams)(Prooect Manager: Nick
Taylor, Associate Planner). Nick Taylor, Associate Planner advised the Planning
Commission that they had previously considered the subject appeal at the November 27,
2012 meeting and continued the item to the January 8, 2013 meeting. However, the two
appellants subsequently withdrew their appeals of the Development Services Director's
administrative approval. Therefore, the Director's approval is now final and no further action
is required by the Planning Commission.

scheduled meeting for Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers.
