Subject: Lease Renewal - Rancho Mission Viejo Riding Park and Omega Equestrian
Center
Tear Mayor Allevato and Council Members,
I am writing to encourage you to renew the lease on the Rancho Mission Viejo Riding Park and
Ortega Equestrian Center. These two facilities provide tremendous value to the equestrian
community in San .Tuan Capistrano and the community at large. Both facilities provide jobs to
members of our community and bring income to local restaurants, hotels, gas stations and other
businesses.
Both facilities play key roles in making San Juan Capistrano the "Equestrian Capital of the
West". Blenheim is internationally known as a top-notch event management company and hosts
events that draws riders from around the globe, while the Ortega Equestrian Center provides
training facilities for riders of all ages, disciplines and levels.
As a resident of Orange County for over 20 years, I've seen many equestrian. facilities give way
to homes or shopping centers. Please help keep San Juan Capistrano a gem of the equestrian
world with your support on these important decisions.
Thank you for your time and consideration,
Danielle Stowe
