This memorandum is to authorize the release of the grading bond posted in the amount of
$229,377.02 for the grading for 32232 Cook Lane. Permit B15-0254
The permit has been cancelled by the property owner for the grading and on-site
improvements that were secured by a cashier's check. The city is authorizing the released for
the associated grading deposit.
A cashier's check was posted as the security. I have included a copy of the Surety
Agreement & receipt #49676 for your information.

I spoke to PW and they have no problem releasing the bond if they cancel the permit. The
question is, can they get some refund for a portion of their permit fees?
Normally, we authorized up to 80%, but it is determined by the B.O.
