1 am in favor of enhancing any and all trails in our city especially those that allow for horses, walkers and bikers. Cycling is one of the
great activities all ages can engage in....................lets see more and improved trails. You made the correct call initially to include room
for cyclers now lets act and move ahead with the project for all to use.

In 2014, the San Juan Capistrano City Council approved renovations to the San
Juan Creek Trail to include a Class 1 bike path. This trail would be an important
connector for people who currently ride on the dangerous Ortega Highway.
The trail, as approved, would be 1,000 feet long and 40 feet wide and 10 feet
would be used for the bike lane. Currently, the City Council is reconsidering the
inclusion of the bike path in this plan, which would deprive people on bikes of a
safer link to the San Juan Creek Trail. You can help by asking the San Juan
Capistrano City Council to move forward with the approved plan to include the
bike trail in the design.
