ORDINANCE NO. 168
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 135 RELATING TO THE TIME
AND PLACE OF HOLDING REGULAR MEETINGS
OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO.
The City Council of the City of San Juan Capistrano does
hereby ordain as follows:
SECTION 1: Ordinance No. 135 of the City of San Juan
Capistrano is hereby amended to read as follows: a
"SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of San
Juan Capistrano shall meet on the 2nd and 4th Monday of
each month at the hour of 7:00 P.M. at the Council Chamber
of the City Hall at 32010 Del Obispo Street."
"SECTION 2: That it is the intention of the City Council
to adjourn such meetings at the hour of 10:00 P.M. or as
soon thereafter as the then current item under discussion
can be concluded; all matters pending which shall not
have been reached will be given priority on the agenda
at the next regular or adjourned meeting of the City
Council."
SECTION 2: This Ordinance is an urgency ordinance and
shall take effect immediately upon its passage.
The grounds for theurgencyare as follows:
Inasmuchas the former meeting place of the City Council
as set forth in Ordinance No. 135 is no longer available to the
City Council and it is essential that meetings should be continued
without interruption at the new City Hall, it is necessary that
this ordinance take effect immediately.
SECTION 3: Within 15 days after its passage, this
ordinance shall be published once in the Coastline Dispatch.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 10th day of August,
1970, by the City Council of the City of San Juan Capistrano.
