ORDINANCE NO. 309
ANIMAL CONTROL
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO,
CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING BY REFERENCE DIVISION 1,
TITLES 4 & 5, OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE
COUNTY OF ORANGE RELATING TO ANIMAL CONTROL,
WELFARE AND LICENSE REQUIREMENTS, AND RESCINDING
CITY ORDINANCE NO. 173
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO,
CALIFORNIA, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby adopted an Ordinance enacting
Division 1,, i�s_T & 5, of the Codified Ordinances of the County
of Orange relating to animal control, welfare, and license require-
ments as adopted by the Orange County Board of Supervisors on
May 4, 1976. Said animal control regulations are hereby adopted
by reference as if the same were set forth in full herein. Three
copies of said Orange County regulations are on file in the Office
of the City Clerk. References to the "County of Orange" or "Board
of Supervisors" contained in said regulations are hereby substituted
with "San Juan Capistrano."
SECTION 2. Ordinance No. 173, relating to animal control,
is hereby rescued
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force 30 days after its passage.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Or ina�d cause the same to be posted in the duly
designated posting places within the City of San Juan Capistrano
within 15 days after its passage.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of
October , 1976, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Sweeney, McDowell, Friess, Heckscher,
and Mayor Nash

by the City Council of the City of San Juan Capistrano, California,
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 18th day of August,
1976, and adopted by said City Council at afar meeting thereof
held on the 6th day of October , 1976.
