ORDINANCE NO. 251
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN
CAPISTRANO ESTABLISHING VEHICLE PARKING
AND TRAFFIC REGULATIONS UPGN CERTAIN
PRIVATE ROADS AND PARKING AREAS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of San Juan Capistrano
does hereby find and determine that there are certain private roads
and parking areas within the City which are open to and frequently
and regularly used to serve commercial establishments, and that the
public health, safety and welfare requires the aforesaid private
roads and parking areas should be subject to reasonable public
regulation and controls.
SECTION 2. The off-street private parking areas and privately
owned streets located within the Mission Village Shopping Center as
depicted in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, be and are hereby found to
be open to the public and are hereby declared to be subject to the
provisions of Sections 22350, 23103 and 23109 of the Vehicle Code
of the State of California.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
ordinance and cause the same to be published once in a newspaper of
general circulation within fifteen (15) days following the passage
thereof.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of January, 1979
by the following vote, to wit:
