Resolution Number CVWD 90-4-3-1IN RESOLUTION NO. 90-4-3-1 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CAPISTRANO VALLEY WATER DISTRICT AMENDING THE LIST OF DESIGNATED EMPLOYEES SUBJECT TO THE CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE WHEREAS, on June 25, 1980, the Capistrano Valley Water District adopted Resolution No. 80-6-25-1 adopting a Conflict of Interest Code designating the employees subject to the provisions thereof; and WHEREAS, on November 7, 1989, February 16, 1988 and April 19, 1988, the Capistrano Valley Water District adopted Resolutions No. 89-11-7-1, No. 88-2-16-1 and No. 88-4-19-1, respectively, amending the List of Designated Positions Subject to the Conflict of Interest Code; and WHEREAS, certain changes in the District's organizational structure requried that the schedule of designated employees be changed. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the position of Secretary of the General Manager be deleted and the position of Executive Secretary be added to the schedule of those employees required to comply with the Conflict of Interest Code. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the new schedule of employees attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and by this reference made a part hereof, be and is hereby adopted and made a part of the District's Conflict of Interest Code. CERTIFICATION O VALLEY WATER I, Clerk of the Board of Directors of the Capistrano Valley Water District, do hereby certify and declare that the above and foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the Board of Directors present and voting at a regular meeting thereof held on the 3rd day of April 1990, at the hour of 6:30 PM. Clerk of the Board CAP TRANO VALLEY WATER DISTIRCT U WHEREAS, Brad Gates was appointed to the Capistrano Valley Water District's Water Advisory Commission on April 3, 1984; and WHEREAS, as a lifelong resident of the District, Brad has developed a broad knowledge of the local water issues facing the District including the need to provide an adequate water supply to a growing population in a semi- arid area; and WHEREAS, while serving as Orange County's Sheriff -Coroner and in other public agency positions, Brad has acquired an unsurpassed understanding of various local, State and Federal governmental agencies; and WHEREAS, Brad has used his local background, combined with his experience gained through many years of public service, to help guide the District in meeting the water needs of the Capistrano Valley. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Capistrano Valley Water District, that Brad Gates be commended for his dedicated service to the Capistrano Valley Water District, and that best wishes be extended for his continued success in his career as Orange County's Sheriff -Coroner and for his continued fight to eliminate drug abuse in Orange County.
