Resolution Number OCWD NO. 4 81-3-17-1RESOLUTION NO. 8I-3-17-1 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF ORANGE COUNTY WATERWORKS DISTRICT NO. 4 ESTABLISHING CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT CHARGES WHEREAS, Resolution No. 80-7-2-1 established that domestic, commercial and industrial Capital Improvement Charges were to be adjusted July 1, of each year in accordance with the engineering News -Record Construction Cost Index for Los Angeles; and WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of Orange County Waterworks District No. 4 now determine that these charges should be adjusted on a quarterly basis; NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of Orange County Waterworks District No. 4 does hereby RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows: Capital Improvement Charges are herein fixed and established as the rates to be collected by Orange County Waterworks District No. 4, to wit: All new water services shall pay a Capital Improvement Charge. The rates established July 2, 1980 by Resolution No. 80-7-2-1 were based on the Engineering News -Record (ENR) Construction Cost Index for the Los Angeles area of $3,680.64 (1913 = 100). These rates and time of payment are as follows: Residential/domestic at $1,000.00 per dwelling unit /meter (a) Payment for subdivisions shall be received before approval of the final tract map. (b) Payment for parcel maps shall be received before water service is installed. Commercial and Industrial at $0.80 per square foot of building floor space to be paid before water service is installed The Capital Improvement Charges shall be adjusted on July 1, October 1, January 1, and April 1 based on the ENR for the previous month as published in the second issue of the Engineering News -Record for that month.
