Resolution Number OCWD NO. 4 80-7-2-2RESOLUTION NO. 80 -7 -2 -JL A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF ORANGE COUNTY WATERWORKS DISTRICT NO. 4 ESTABLISHING WATER RATES, SERVICE CHARGES AND CONNECTION CHARGES WHEREAS, it has been determined that presently existing water rates and charges are inadequate to meet the actual costs; and WHEREAS, The Board of Directors determine that new rates and charges should be implemented immediately; NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of Orange County Waterworks District No. 4 does hereby RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows: The following water rates and charges are herein fixed and established as the rates to be billed and collected by Orange County Waterworks District No. 4 for general service to wit: Domestic• $4.00 bimonthly base charge per meter plus $0.50 per 100 cubic feet. Multiple units served from one meter - $4.00 bimonthly for each dwelling unit plus $0.50 per 100 cubic feet. Mobile Home Parks - $1.00 per space bimonthly plus $0.50 per 100 cubic feet. Commercial and Industrial: $4.00 bimonthly plus $0.50 per 100 cubic feet. Fire Service - $2.00 per month per inch of service size. Construction Water: Meter Deposit of $500.00 plus $0.75 per 100 cubic feet and $1.00 per day minimum. Agricultural Water: Water shall be paid for the same rate the District pays the Municipal Water District of Orange County for domestic water plus the Tri -Cities Municipal Water District Operation and Maintenance Surcharge. Meter Installation Charges: Set by the General Manager to adequately cover the District's actual costs plus 15%. Storage Capacity Charge: $100.00 per unit/meter outside existing zones, $52.75 per unit/meter within a zone and $26.50 per mobile home space. Commercial and Industrial @ $0.08 (eight) per square foot of building to be constructed. Capital Improvement Charges: Residential/domestic @ $1,000.00 per unit/meter. Commercial and Industrial @ $0.80 (eighty) per square foot of building to be constructed. The Capital Improvement charge shall be adjusted July 1, each year based on the Engineering News Record Construction Cost Index for the Los Angeles area.
