A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN
CAPISTRANO, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING A UTILITY EASEMENT FOR
CERTAIN WORK RELATED TO THE AVENIDA PLACIDA LANDSLIDE
(SAN DIEGO GAS AND ELECTRIC COMPANY)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Juan Capistrano, considered the
Avenida Placida Landslide a threat to existing domestic water facilities; and,
WHEREAS, stabilization of the existing domestic water facilites was required;
and,
WHEREAS, the stabilization work required the relocation of overhead power
lines belonging to the San Diego Gas and Electric Company; and,
WHEREAS, the City of San Juan Capistrano dedicated a utility easement for the
relocated powerlines; and,
WHEREAS, final grading resulted in impacts to a portion of the relocated
powerlines; and,
WHEREAS, the San Diego Gas and Electric Company has requested that the
easement be amended to resolve these impacts.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San
Juan Capistrano, does hereby resolve, determine and order as follows:
SECTION 1.
The Amendment to the utility easement is hereby granted to the San Diego Gas
and Electric Company.
SECTION 2.
The City Clerk is directed to forthwith -forward the Amendment to the utility
easement to the Orange County Recorder's Office for recordation.
