CRA 83-7-19-1 RECOMMENDING THE ADOPTION OF THE 1983-84 AGENCY ADMINISTRATIVE BUDGET A RESOLUTION OF THE SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY RECOMMENDING ADOPTION OF AN ADMINISTRATIVE BUDGET FOR THE 1983-84 FISCAL YEAR AND AUTHORIZING EXPENDITURES AND APPROPRIATIONS RELATED THERETO INCLUDING THE COMPENSATION OF MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS OF THE AGENCY WHEREAS, the California Community Redevelopment Law, Section 33610 of the Health and Safety Code, authorizes the legislative body of the community to appropriate such amounts as the legislative body deems necessary for the administrative expense and overhead of the agency; and, WHEREAS, California Community Redevelopment Law, Section 33612 of the Health and Safety Code, authorizes the legislative body to adopt an annual budget for the administrative expense of the agency in such amounts as it deems necessary; and, WHEREAS, the San Juan Capistrano Community Redevelopment Agency ByLaws and the California Community Redevelopment Law authorize the board to fix and determine the compensation for all members of the board of directors, officers, employees, and agents of the agency and to contract with the City government of the City of San Juan Capistrano as it deems necessary to exercise its powers, duties and functions as prescribed by the Community Redevelopment Law of the State of California; and, WHEREAS, the proposed San Juan Capistrano Community Redevelopment Agency administrative budget for the 1983-84 fiscal year (attached hereto as Exhibit "11') provides for the anticipated administrative expense of the agency for the 1983-84 fiscal year, including but not limited to expenditures authorized by Section 33114, 33114.5, and 33120 through 33135 of the Health and Safety Code of the State of California, and provides that such money appropriated may be paid to the agency as a loan to be repaid upon such terms and conditions as the legislative body may provide. me V NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the San Juan Capistrano Community Redevelopment Agency Board of Directors recommend to the City Council of the City of San Juan Capistrano that the Community Redevelopment Agency administrative budget for the 1983-84 fiscal year be adopted as presented, and that the City Council appropriate $185,000.00 from the General Fund of the City to the Community Redevelopment Agency Administrative Fund, such funds to be repaid at an interest rate not to exceed the average annual rate of return on all City investments.
