Resolution Number 64-10-20-5445 RESOLUTION NO. 64-10-20-5 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CALIFORNIA, EMPLOYING AND DESIGNATING AN ENGINEER OF WORK IN THE MATTER OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF SANITARY SEWERS IN ASSESS- MENT DISTRICT NO. 64-1 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CALIFORNIA, as follows: SECTION 1. That Engineering -Science, Inc., heretofore employed by this Council in the matter of Assessment District No. 64-1, be, and it is hereby employed and designated as Engineer of Work in place of the City Engineer and all provisions of Division 7 of the Streets and Highways Code, commonly known as the "Improve- ment Act of 1911", applicable to the engineer, shall apply to such Engineer of Work. SECTION 2. That the City Council further provides and directs that the assessment hereafter to be made in the proceedings shall be made and signed by the Engineer of Work instead of the Superintendents of Streets. SECTION 3. That the compensation to be paid said Engineer of Work is hereby fixed and confirmed, as set forth in that certain agreement entered into the 23rd day of September 1963 by and between the City of San Juan Capistrano and Engineering -Science, Inc., a California Corporation. SECTION 4. That the City Council hereby designates Leonard Melberg, an officer of said Engineering -Science, Inc., to make and sign any certificate or document required to be made or signed by APPROVED and ADOPTED this 20th ATTEST: City Clerk STATE OF CALIFORNIA ) COUNTY OF ORANGE ) as CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO ) San Juan Capistrano I, ERNEST A. THOMPSON, City Clerk of the City of San Juan Capistrano, California, DO HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution, being Resolution No. 64-10-20-5, was duly passed, approved and adopted by said City Council, approved and signed by the Mayor, and attested by the City Clerk, all at an adjourned regular meeting of said City Council held on the 20th day of October, 1964, and that the same was passed and adopted by the following vote, to wit: AYES: COUNCILMEN: BUCHHEIM, BATHGATE, CHERMAK, OLIVARES and DURNFORD NOES: COUNCILMEN: NONE ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: NONE DATED this 20th day of October, 1964.
