RESOLUTION NO. 68-7-15-3
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISH-
ING AND IMPOSING AN OBLIGATION BOND ASSESSMENT
RATE FOR REDEMPTION PURPOSES FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR 1968-69
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Juan Capistrano
has sold Seven Hundred Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($700,000.00)
in General Obligation Bonds, as provided by a special election
held for that purpose and so authorizing the construction of
appropriate facilities and sewer services for the populace of the
municipality; and
WHEREAS, in order to meet the obligation in redeeming said
bonds it is necessary to impose an assessment tax rate upon that
area of corporate limits at the time of said sale of bonds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that in order to cover the
obligation of Forty-one Thousand Seven Hundred Dollars ($41,700.00)
in interest and principal with regard to the municipal sewer
General Obligation Bonds, the City Council deems it necessary to
establish and impose an assessment rate of Thirty Cents ($ .30)
per One Hundred Dollar ($100.00) assessed valuation as equalized
and entered on the records of the Orange County Assessor for the
present year and/or ensuing year to enable an appropriation esti-
mated at Thirty-five Thousand Six Hundred Ninety Dollars ($35,690.00)
to support other revenues available for meeting this debt service
obligation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED and ORDERED that the City Clerk be
instructed to forward a copy of this Resolution to the County
Auditor -Controller of the County of Orange.
The foregoing resolution is approved and signed by me this
15th day of July, 1968.
