RESOLUTION NO. 65-7-8-1
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO ESTABLISHING THE TAX RATE
(FOR MUNICIPAL SEWER MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION AND
ESTABLISHING THE TAX RATE FOR THE NECESSARY FUNDS
FOR REDEMPTION OF GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS IN
CONNECTION WITH MUNICIPAL SEWER OPERATION
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Juan Capistrano has reviewed
the Municipal Sewer Maintenance and Operation procedures during the past fiscal
year and has considered a proposed budget for sewer maintenance and operation for
the fiscal year 1965-1966 and has heard from its Director of Public Works and
staff members in connection therewith; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the question of necessary revenue
for municipal operation and funds necessary for the redemption of General Obli-
gation Bonds in connection with the Municipal Sewer operation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the foregoing matters in connection
with the assessed valuation of the properties within the Municipal Sewer Districts
involved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San Juan
Capistrano that it establish and it does hereby establish a rate of 95¢ per $100.00
of assessed valuation to provide necessary revenue for the maintenance and operation
of the municipal sewers for the year 1965-1966.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San Juan
Capistrano that it establish and it does hereby establish a rate of 35¢ per $100.00
assessed valuation to provide the necessary funds for the redemption of General
Obligation Bonds falling due in the fiscal
