Resolution Number 70-3-9-1241 RESOLUTION NO. 70-3-9-1 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO COM- MENDING THE LIFE OF WERVICE OF JAMES B. UTT AND EXTENDING TO HIS FAMILY SINCERE CONDOLENCES ON HIS UNTIMELY DEATH. WHEREAS, James B. Utt has served this portion of the State of California in the Congress of the United States prior to the incorporation of the City of San Juan Capistrano; and WHEREAS, his faithful and untiring representation has enured to the benefit of the residents of the City of San Juan Capistrano and of the entire Capistrano Valley; and WHEREAS, the City Council shares with the family of James B. Utt the grief occasioned by his untimely death in Washington, D. C. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San Juan Capistrano that it commend and it does hereby commend the life of unselfish and faithful service of James B. Utt in his performance and his duties as Congressman in the Congress of the United States. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that it express and it does hereby express its sincere feeling of shock and grief at the untimely death of James B. Utt in Washington, D. C. while werving his con- stituents in the Congress of the United States. AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this City Council extend and it does hereby extend to the widow and immediate family of James B. Utt its genuine condolences for their loss and does further extend its sincere sympathy in their time of grief.
