A RESOLUTIGI•, OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAI; JUA: CARISTBAI O AUTIHOPIZING OVERTIME
PAY11ENT TO C--E?TAIN CITY -=:PLOYEES.
7i'1EREAS, during the recent disasterous floods of late Jan-
uary and early February many City em_Dloyees worked many and long
hours to assist in the savini3 of life and the Preservation of -)ro•-
perty; and,
":HEREAS, the personnel regulations of the City do not oor:iit
the payment of overtime to such employees, but the City Council does
find that such employees should receive overtime (time and one-half)
for such work.
I70:7 TI-IER=ORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of San Juan Capistrano that those employees who, during the recent
floods, worked more than their scheduled time shall receive pay_ent
for such overtime cork at the rate of ore and one-half times their
regular pay rate,
BE IT FURTHEP RESOLVED that the City Council on behalf of the
citizens of San Juan Capistrano does e::press its sincere thanks to
said City E.nployees for :fork well done and beyond the call of duty.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 3rd day of ',.arch, 1959,
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of San Juan
