RESOLUTION NO. 72-12-11-3
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO APPROVING INCREASE IN
SALARY AND AUTOMOBILE ALLOWANCE FOR CITY
MANAGER.
WHEREAS, DONALD G. WEIDNER was appointed City Administrator of
the City of San Juan Capistrano in April of 1971, at an annual salary
of $16,500.00 per annum and an automobile allowance of $90.00 per
month for the use of his personal automobile for City business within
the County of Orange;
WHEREAS, DONALD G. WEIDNER was subsequently named City Manager
at the same salary and allowance; and
WHEREAS, the aforesaid City Manager has served the City of San
Juan Capistrano with diligence and to the satisfaction of the City
Council for more than one and one-half years without a raise in pay
or allowances;
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Juan Capistrano
deems that the aforesaid City Manager merits a reasonable increase in
pay and allowances, '
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of San Juan Capistrano that commencing January 1, 1973, the City
Manager shall receive an annual salary of $17,500.00, plus. an auto-
mobile allowance of $125.00 per month for the use of his personal
automobile for City business.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that availability of the City Manager's
personal vehicle for City business is limited to Orange County
limits and automobile travel outside said limits may be by City -owned
vehicle.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 11th day of December, 1972,
by the following vote, to wit:
