Resolution Number 72-1-24-5RESOLUTION NO. 72-1-24-5 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO ESTABLISHING VOTING PRE- CINCTS, ELECTION OFFICERS AND POLLING PLACES FOR THE HOLDING OF A GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD IN SAID CITY ON TUESDAY, THE 11TH DAY OF APRIL, 1972 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Juan Capistrano, did by its Resolution No. 72-1-10-4, call and give notice of the holding of a General Municipal Election to be held in said City on Tuesday, the 11th day of April, 1972, for the election of certain officers of said City as required by the provisions of the laws of the State of Cali- _ fornia relating to General Law Cities and for the submission to the qualified electors of said City of a certain question, proposition or measure re}ating to the authorization of a separate tax rate for the maintenance, operation and improvement of public park sites; and WHEREAS, it is necessary for the conduct of the aforesaid elections to establish voting precincts, election officers, and poll- ing places. NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Juan Capistrano, does hereby resolve, declare, determine and order: SECTION 1. That for the purpose of holding said regular General Municipal Election, there shall be and are hereby established ten (10) voting precincts consisting of four (4) consolidations of the regular election precincts in the City of San Juan Capistrano established for the holding of state and county elections, as said regular election precincts exist on the date of adopting of this resolution; that the polling places for the respective precincts shall be the places hereinafter designated; that the persons hereinafter named, being competent and qualified electors and residents of said City are hereby appointed officers of election and they shall hold said election and make return thereof in the manner provided by law. Voting Precinct 1, comprising regular election precincts 117, 118, 337 and 341 Polling Place: Recreational Hall, San Juan Fire Station 31411 La Matanza, San Juan Capistrano Inspector: Charlotte Calhoun Judge: Diane Lautman ^ Clerk: Virginia Webb Clerk: Margaret Stephenson Voting Precinct 2, comprising regular election precincts 335 and 338 Polling Place: Community Center, San Juan Mobile Estates 32302 Alipaz, San Juan Capistrano Inspector: Rita Davis Judge: Anita De Mars Clerk: Austin Comer Clerk: Patricia Baker Voting Precinct 3, comprised of regular election precinct 339 Polling Place: Community Center, Capistrano Valley Mobile Estates 26000 Ave. Aeropuerto, San Juan Capistrano Inspector: Betty Wells Judge: Peter Chicas Clerk: Mary Hess Clerk: Betty A. Powning Voting Precinct 4, comprising regular election precincts 336, 340, 342 Polling Place: Garage of Mrs. Pat Albert 27862 Calle San Remo, San Juan Capistrano Inspector: Marjory Hatfield Judge: Mary Meyer Clerk: Noreta Kennedy Clerk: Nell Jackson SECTION 2. That the compensation of the persons hereinabove named as election officers is hereby fixed at the sum of $35.00 for each Inspector and $30.00 for each Judge and Clerk, for said election. The rental for each of such polling places where a charge is made shall be the sum of $25.00 for said election.
