Resolution Number 71-8-9-1115 RESOLUTION NO. 71-8-9-1 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING AND IMPOSING THE AD VALOREM TAX RATE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1971-1972 WHEREAS, the amount of revenue required to be raised by taxation to carry out the municipal functions of the City of San Juan Capistrano for the fiscal year 1971-1972 is the sum of Nine Hundred and Fifteen Thousand Seven Hundred and Twenty-six Dollars ($915,726.00); and WHEREAS, the tax rate necessary to raise the aforesaid sum of money is Ninety Cents ($0.90) for each One Hundred Dollars of assessed valuation. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the tax rate for fiscal year 1971-1972 be and is hereby established at Ninety Cents ($0.90) for each One Hundred Dollars of assessed valuation as equalized and entered on the records of the Orange County Assessor. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and is hereby directed to publish this resolution in the Coastline Dispatch, a news- paper of general circulation in the City of San Juan Capistrano within 15 days after adoption hereof. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED AND ORDERED that the City Clerk be instructed to forward a copy of this resolution to the County Auditor - Controller of the County of Orange.
