RESOLUTION NO. 74-6-5-1
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO ESTABLISHING PREVAILING WAGE
RATES BY CLASSIFICATION FOR ALL CRAFTS NEEDED TO
PERFORM CONTRACTS COVERING CONSTRUCTION OF MUNI-
CIPAL FACILITIES AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 73-2-13-1
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San
Juan Capistrano, California, that under the provisions of Section
1770 of the Labor Code of the State of California, the City
Council of the City of San Juan Capistrano hereby ascertains the
prevailing rate per hourly wages, in dollars, based on a working
day of eight hours for each craft or type of workman or mechanic
needed to execute any contract which may be awarded by the City
of San Juan Capistrano, and as more fully set forth in the
attachment hereto which by reference is made a part hereof, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said prevailing wage rates
shall be effective until such time as the City Council has
ascertained from the responsible Labor Council having jurisdic-
tion in this area, that said prevailing wage rates have been
changed, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall take
force and be effective as provided by law, and that said Resolu-
tion, together with said list of prevailing wages, shall be
referred to in each Bidder's document hereafter prepared and
received in connection with any Public Works contract for and on
behalf of the City of San Juan Capistrano, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in accordance with Section
1773.3 of the Labor Code, a copy of this Resolution shall be
forwarded to the Director of Industrial Relations.
