ASSEMBLY BILL 3544 - COASTAL CONSERVANCY
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CALIFORNIA, IN SUPPORT
OF A COASTAL CONSERVANCY FOR THE PRESERVATION
OF AGRICULTURE

WHEREAS, Assemblyman Michael Wornum has sponsored
Assembly Bill No. 3544, tentatively entitled "Coastal Conservancy;"
and
WHEREAS, it appears that the purpose of this Bill is to
preserve agriculture in the California coastal regions; and
WHEREAS, San Juan Capistrano is located within such
coastal region; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Juan
Capistrano is interested in preserving agriculture within its
boundaries,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this City Council
does hereby support the adoption of Assembly Bill 3544 and urge
its immediate passage. The City Clerk is directed to send a copy
of this Resolution to Assemblyman Wornum.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of March,
1976, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Friess, Heckscher, McDowell,
Sweeney, and Mayor Nash
