Resolution Number 76-1-7-3RESOLUTION NO. 76-1-7-3 C VOTING PRECINCTS, POLLING PLACES AND ELECTION OFFICERS A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISH- ING.VOTING PRECINCTS, POLLING PLACES AND ELECTION OFFICERS FOR THE HOLDING OF A GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD IN SAID CITY ON TUESDAY, THE 2ND DAY OF MARCiI, _1976 WIIEREAS, the City Council of the City of San .Juan Capistrano, did by its Resolution No. 7.5-12-3-2, call and give notice of the holding of a. General Municipal Election to be held in said City on Tuesday, the 2nd day of March, 1976, for the election of certain officers of said City as required.by the provisions of the laws of the State of California relating to General Law Cities and for the submission to the qualified electors of said City of a certain question, proposition or measure relating to the preservation of open space and agricul- ture and opinion questions relating thereto; and WHEREAS, it is necessary for the conduct of the afore- said elections to establish voting precincts, election officers, and polling places. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Juan Capistrano does hereby resolve, declare, determine and order: SECTION 1. That for the purpose of holding said regular General Municipal Election, there shall be and are hereby established ten (10) voting precincts consisting of three (3) consolidations of the regular election precincts in the City of San Juan Capistrano established for the holding of state and county elections, as said regular election precincts exist on the date of adopting of this Resolution; that the polling places for the respective precincts shall be the places hereinafter designated; that the persbns hereinafter named, being competent and qualified electors and residents of said City are hereby appointed officers of election and they shall hold said election and make return thereof in the manner provided by law. That the compensation of the persons herein- above named as election officers is hereby fixed at the sum of Thirty -Five Dollars ($35.00) for each Inspector and Thirty Dollars ($30.00) for each Judge and Clerk, for said election. The rental for each of such polling places where a charge is made shall be the sum of Twenty -Five Dollars ($25.00) for said election. SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution; shall enter the same in the book of original Resolutions of said City, and shall make a minute of the passage and adoption thereof in the records of the proceedings of the City Council of said City in the minutes of the meeting at which the -same is passed and adopted. SECTION 4. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately.
