Resolution Number 75-8-27-1RESOLUTION NO. 75-8-27-1 SETTING CITY TAX RATE A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING AND IMPOSING THE AD VALOREM TAX RATE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1975-1976 WHEREAS, the amount of revenue required to be raised by property taxation to carry out the municipal functions of the City of San Juan Capistrano for the fiscal year 1975-1976 is the sum of $448,000; and WHEREAS, the tax rate necessary to raise the aforesaid sum of money necessary for municipal functions is Ninety Cents ($.90) for each One Hundred Dollars ($100) of assessed valuation as equalized and entered on the records of the Orange County Assessor; and WHEREAS, the City has heretofore issued General Obli- gation Bonds in the sum of One Million Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,200,000); and WHEREAS, the revenue required to pay the sum of Eighty - Four Thousand Eight Hundred Sixty Dollars ($84,860), being the principal and interest payable on such General Obligation Bonds due in fiscal year 1975-1976, is Sixteen Cents ($.16) per One Hundred Dollars ($100) of assessed valuation as equalized and entered on the records of the Orange County Assessor. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the tax rate for fiscal year 1975-1976 be and is hereby established at Ninety Cents ($.90) for each One Hundred Dollars ($100) of assessed valuation as equalized and entered on the records of the Orange County Assessor. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the assessment rate for the redemption of the General Obligation Bonds of the City of San Juan Capistrano for the fiscal year 1975-1976 shall be and hereby is established at Sixteen Cents ($.16) per One Hundred Dollars ($100) of assessed valuation as equalized and entered on the records of the Orange County Assessor. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall be and hereby is authorized and directed to publish this Resolution in a newspaper of general circulation with the City of San Juan Capistrano within fifteen (15) days after adoption hereof. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall be and hereby is authorized and directed to forward a copy of this Resolution to the County Auditor -Controller of the County of Orange.
