SPEED LIMITS
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISH-
ING THE PRIMA FACIE SPEED LIMITS SET FORTH ON
THOSE STREETS OR PARTS OF STREETS HEREIN
DESCRIBED, AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 75-9-17-4
WHEREAS, an engineering and traffic survey has been
conducted to establish the prima facie speed limit that would
facilitate the orderly movement of vehicular traffic, and
would be reasonable and safe upon those streets or portions
of streets herein described; and
WHEREAS, it is established by Ordinance that the
City Council may, by Resolution, designate speed limits within
the City limits; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds and determines that
Resolution No. 75-9-17-4, adopted by the City Council on Septem-
ber 17, 1975, should be repealed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the following
prima facie speed limit is hereby declared as hereinafter set
forth on those streets or portions of streets herein designated:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Traffic Engineer
is hereby directed to place signs to provide notice of the
aforesaid prima facie speed limits.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the aforementioned
speed .:limits shall be in full force and effect upon the
installation of said speed limit signs.
