Resolution Number 79-10-17-793 RESOLUTION NO. 79-10-17-7 OF CERTAIN RECORDS TMFNTI A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO DESTROY CERTAIN CITY RECORDS AND DOCUMENTS PURSUANT TO THE GOVERNMENT CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA WHEREAS, Sections 34090, 34090.5, and 34090.7 of the Government Code of the State of California provide for the destruction of certain City records and documents, with the approval of the legislative body by Resolution and the written consent of the City Attorney; and, WHEREAS, the original records listed on Exhibit "A" have been reproduced on film in conformance with Government Code Section 34090.5. WHEREAS, the City Attorney has consented to the destruction of such documents and records; and, WHEREAS, a list of the documents and records to be destroyed is attached hereto as Exhibit "A". NOW, THREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Juan Capistrano does hereby resolve as follows: SECTION 1. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to destroy those records and documents shown on Exhibit "A" in accordance with the provisions of Section 34090, 34090.5, and 34090.7 of the Government Code by appropriate means. SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and shall cause the same to be entered in the official Book of Resolutions of the said City.
