Resolution Number 80-1-20-4RESOLUTION NO. 80-1-20-4 AMENDING EMPLOYEE COMPENSATION PLANS A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE CITY'S EMPLOYEE COMPENSATION PLANS WHEREAS, Section 2-5.403(c) of the Municipal Code of the City of San Juan Capistrano provides that the Personnel Officer shall prepare and maintain a Compensation Plan for City Employees, and shall submit such Plan and/or amendments thereto for approval by the City Council; and, WHEREAS, Section 2 of Rule VI of the City's Personnel Rules and Regulations provides that the City Council shall adopt and/or amend the Compensation Plan by resolution; and, WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of California Government Code Section 3500 et. seq., representatives of the City and Employees affected by the amendments herein contained have met and conferred and have reached a mutual understanding and agreement concerning said amendments. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of San Juan Capistano does hereby approve and adopt the following: SECTION 1. Adoption of Revised Employee Salary Schedules. The City's Employee Compensation Plans are hereby amended to adopt the revised Employee Salary Schedules attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and by this reference made a part hereof, said Plans to include Management Employees, the City Manager, City Treasurer, and Classified Employees. SECTION 2. Effective Date. The herein contained amendments and revised Employee Salary Schedules shall be effective as of July 1, 1980.
