Resolution Number 80-7-2-4RESOLUTION NO. 80-7-2-4 AMENDING EMPLOYEE COMPENSATION PLAN A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE CITY'S EMPLOYEE COMPENSATION PLAN WHEREAS, Section 2-5.403(c) of Article 4 of Chapter 5 of Title 2 of the City of San Juan Capistrano Municipal Code provides that the Personnel Officer shall prepare a Compensation Plan, and amendments thereto, for City employees, and submit such Plan and amendments for approval by the City Council; and, WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of California Government Code Section 3500 et seq., the City and employee organizations affected by the amendment herein contained have met and conferred and have reached a mutual understanding and agreement concerning said Compensation Plan and amendment thereto; and, WHEREAS, Section 2 of Rule VI of the City of San Juan Capistrano's Personnel Rules and Regulations provides that the City Council shall adopt or amend the Compensation Plan by resolution. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: SECTION 1. Amendment to Compensation Plan. The Compensation Plan adopted for City employees on October 17, 1979, effective July 1, 1979, is hereby amended as shown in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof. SECTION 2. Effective Date. The herein contained amendment to the Compensation Plan shall be effective as of June 1, 1980. SECTION 3. Conflicting Agreements Voided. Any and all Memoranda or Resolutions, or parts thereof, in conflict with the herein contained amendment to the Compensation Plan are hereby rescinded.
