Resolution Number 83-7-5-1RESOLUTION NO. 83-7-5-1 DEVELOPMENT FEES AND SURETY SCHEDULES A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING DEVELOPMENT FEES AND SURETY SCHEDULES FOR THE PROCESSING OF DEVELOPMENT PLANS, DIVISIONS OF LAND, ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS, AND CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 80-7-16-6 WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted the Land Use Management Code permitting the establishment, change, amendment or deletion of Development Fees and Surety Schedules by Resolution; and, WHEREAS, it has been established that the Development Fees and Surety Schedules listed below provide for substantially full cost recovery for these fee -financed services in compliance with Article XIIIB, Section 8(c) (Proposition 4) of the California Constitution. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Development Fees and Surety Schedules for the processing of development plans, processing of documents and maps for land divisions, administrative matters, and construction inspection are as follows: Development Fees and Surety Schedules 1. Filing Fees A. Tentative Tract $2,000 + $250/unit or lot (no growth management) $2,000 + $50/unit or lot (growth management) B. Tentative Parcel Map $2,000/application (Residential) C. Tentative Parcel Map (Commercial) D. Reversion to Acreage 2. Development Plan Check Fees A. Tract Map -1- $500/unit or lot (minimum $2,000) $250 $1,000 plus $100 per lot/ unit up to 25, plus $50 per lot/unit over 25 B. Parcel Map $1,000 plus $100 per lot/ unit C. Record of Survey $500 plus $50 per lot 3. Improvement Plan Check Fees A. Public Improvement Plans Submittal Fee $1,000 Checking Fee 3% of Construction Costs B. Private Improvement Plans Submittal Fee $500 Checking Fee 3% of Construction Costs 4. Development Inspections A. Improvement Costs 3�% of Improvement Costs $0.00 - $100,000 (minimum $35) (Public and Private) B. Improvement Costs $3,500 plus 3% of $100,000 + over Improvement Costs over $100,000 5. Administrative Fees, Sureties & Deposits A. Street Cut Deposit $500 - $1,000 Refundable (Less than 500 sq. ft.) Deposit (upon completion of job) B. Faithful Performance Surety 100% of Construction Costs (Surety released one year after notice of completion) C. Labor and Material Surety 100% of Construction Costs (Surety released after completion of project) D. Monumentation Surety 100% of Monumentation Costs (Surety released upon Engineer's certification of work) E. Water Surety As required by Capistrano Valley Water District F. Administrative $5/permit Permit Fee -2- Commercial or Industrial Site Plan Modification E. Sign Permit F. Environmental Impact Report Contract Administration G. Initial Study CEQA H. Appeals I.
