RESOLUTION NO. 86-1-21-4
ORANGE COUNTY UNIFIED TRANSPORTATION TRUST FUND
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CALIFORNIA, REQUESTING
THE ORANGE COUNTY TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION TO
INCLUDE WITHIN THE STREETS AND ROADS COMPONENT
OF THE ORANGE COUNTY UNIFIED TRANSPORTATION
TRUST FUND PROGRAM THE REHABILITATION OF CAMINO
CAPISTRANO FROM THE SOUTH CITY LIMITS TO THE
I-5 RAMPS AT SAN JUAN CREEK ROAD
WHEREAS, the City of San Juan Capistrano desires to
improve Camino Capistrano from the South City Limits to the 1-5
Ramps at San Juan Creek Road; and,
WHEREAS, Camino Capistrano is an important arterial
element in the County of Orange and of general County -wide
interest; and,
WHEREAS, the Orange County Unified Transportation Trust
Fund provides funds for expenditure on local streets and roads.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of San Juan Capistrano hereby requests the Orange County
Transportation Commission to allocate to said City from the
Orange County Unified Transportation Trust Fund the amount of
$301,000.00, said amount to be matched by funds from said City,
to be used to aid said City in the improvement of Camino
Capistrano from the South City Limits to the I-5 Ramps at San
Juan Creek Road.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Orange County
Transportation Commission is hereby requested to find that said
improvements on Camino Capistrano, in the manner provided, are in
the general County interest.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, by this Resolution, the
City of San Juan Capistrano agrees with the basic concepts of the
Streets and Roads Component of the Orange County Unified
Transportation Trust Fund Program; and further agrees that its
share of the cost of improvements will be available for the
Fiscal Year 1988-1989.

4 36 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed
to forward two (2) certified copies of this Resolution to the
Orange County Transportation Commission.
