Resolution Number 85-8-6-8191 RESOLUTION NO. 85-8-6-8 APPROVING WISH-CAMERO ANNEXATION A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE WISH-CAMERO ANNEXATION WHEREAS, the owners of the Wish and Camero properties, identified on Exhibits "A" and "B," attached hereto, have requested annexation to the City; and, WHEREAS, in response to the owner's request, the City Council initiated annexation proceedings with the Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO); and, WHEREAS, on November 7, 1984, LAFCO approved the subject annexation; and, WHEREAS, the City of San Juan Capistrano has been designated the conducting authority for the annexation by LAFCO; and, WHEREAS, the City Council finds that: (1) The parcels are located within the City's adopted sphere of influence. (2) The City is capable of efficiently providing all municipal services to the parcels. (3) The only permanent nonemergency access to the parcels is through the City (via Peppertree Bend). (4) The parcels are already located within the Capistrano Valley Water District. (5) The most, and perhaps only, feasible source of sewer service to the parcels would be from the City; and, WHEREAS, the subject territory is uninhabited and all land owners have consented to the annexation; and, WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 35151 of the California Government Code, LAFCO has authorized the City to annex the territory without hearing and without election. -1- 192 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby approve the Wish-Camero annexation. Z2 MARY ANN VER, C71TY CLERK San Juan4Zapistrano, California -3- EXHIBIT "A" WISH/CAMERO ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO That portion of Section 2, Township 8 South, Range 8 West, San Bernardino Meridian, in the unincorporated territory of the County of Orange, State of California described as follows: BEGINNING at an angle point in the existing boundary line of the City of San Juan Capistrano as established by "Annexation of Tract No. 10593", said point being the Northerly terminus of that certain course described as "South 48034120" West 1689.21 feet" in said annexation; Thence following along said existing boundary line North 1026127" East 756.18 feet per the "Incorporation" of said City dated 4-9-61; Thence leaving said existing boundary line North 89029'21" West 150.19 feet along the Northerly line of Parcel 1 as shown on a map recorded in Book 115, pages 14 and 15 of Parcel Maps in the office of the Recorder of said County; Thence South 36030139" West 498.08 feet along the Northwesterly line of said Parcel 1; Thence leaving the Northwesterly line of said Parcel 1 and along the Northwesterly prolongation of the Southwesterly line of said Parcel 1 North 46050'27" West, 11.78 feet to the most Northerly corner of the land described in a deed recorded in Book 14158, page 1731 in the office of the Recorder of said County; Thence following along the Northwesterly and Southwesterly lines of said deed S. 46042100" W., 334.28 feet and South 41025'04" East, 551.43 feet to a point in the existing boundary line of said City as established by said "Annexation of Tract No. 10593 (Rec.)"; Thence along said existing boundary line North 48033123" East 419.78 feet to the Point of Beginning.
