Resolution Number 86-5-6-7INITIATING Z RESOLUTION NO. 86-5-6-7 �:Wod STUDY - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CALIFORNIA, INITIATING A ZONING STUDY REGARDING PROPERTY MAINTENANCE STANDARDS IN COMMERCIAL DISTRICTS AND TREE TRIMMING REQUIREMENTS 77 WHEREAS, the City Council finds and determines that the City's Municipal Code does not specifically address property maintenance requirements for commercial businesses such as shopping centers and commercial zones; and, WHEREAS, the City's zoning provisions regarding tree trimming standards do not address requirements relating to tree growth subsequent to severe tree trimming. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that the Department of Community Planing and Development initiate a zoning study for the purpose of reviewing the establishment of zoning requirements regarding long-term property maintenance standards for commercial businesses with particular emphasis on maintenance standards for shopping centers. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that zoning recommendations be submitted regarding requirements allowing for growth of trees which have been severely trimmed by property owners. AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chamber of Commerce and property owners are to be included in the zoning study process initiated by this Resolution. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this May , 1986 .
