Resolution Number 88-3-1-2005 RESOLUTION NO. 88-3-1-2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING .AN INVENTORY OF HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL LANDMARKS AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 86-11-18-2 WHEREAS, Section 2-2.303 of the San Juan Capistrano Municipal Code requires that a list of all sites, structures, persons, events and landmarks which have cultural or historical significance or importance be kept by the City; and, WHEREAS, the Municipal Code empowers the Cultural Arts and Heritage Commission to keep and maintain such a list; and, WHEREAS, Resolution No. 86-11-18-2 has previously established those structures which are historically and culturally significant in San Juan Capistrano; and, WHEREAS, these structures are set forth in Exhibit A; and, WHEREAS, it is recommended that the Esslinger House be added to the Inventory of Historical and Cultural Landmarks. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of San Juan Capistrano, hereby adopts the Inventory of Historical and Cultural Landmarks as outlined in Exhibit A, attached hereto. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Resolution No. 86-11-18-2 is hereby rescinded. PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 1st day of March 1988.
