REQUESTING OCUTT FUNDING - SAN JUAN CREEK ROAD IMPROVEMENTS
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
JUAN CAPISTRANO, CALIFORNIA, REQUESTING THE ORANGE
COUNTY TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION TO INCLUDE WITHIN
THE ORANGE COUNTY UNIFIED TRANSPORTATION TRUST
(OCUTT) FUND THE IMPROVEMENT OF SAN JUAN CREEK ROAD
FROM LA NOVIA AVENUE TO 900 FEET EASTERLY
WHEREAS, the City of San Juan Capistrano desires to improve San Juan Creek
Road from La Novia Avenue to 900' easterly; and,
WHEREAS, the City's Master Plan of Arterial Highways/Circulation Element is
consistent with the County of Orange Master Plan of Arterial Highways; and,
WHEREAS, the City of San Juan Capistrano will provide 50 percent in
matching funds for each project; and,
WHEREAS, the Orange County Transportation Commission intends to allocate
funds from the Orange County Unified Transportation Trust Fund for the improvement of
streets within the incorporated cities of the county.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of
San Juan Capistrano hereby requests the Orange County Transportation Commission to
allocate funds in the amounts specified in the City's application to said City from Orange
County Unified Transportation Trust Funds. Said funds shall be matched by funds from
said City and shall be used to aid the City in the improvement of San Juan Creek Road
from La Novia Avenue to 900' easterly.
