Hi Rhea,
I had the applicant revise the scope of work to include the new retail building and equipment
inside because the previous form only indicated they were doing grading and a parking lot.
Can you confirm that your approval still stands so that I may add this correspondence to the
city permit file.
Thank you,
Lisa La

Subject: Final Water and Sewer Letter for San Juan Hills Golf Club, L.P., 32120 San Juan
Creek Road, San Juan Capistrano Tract Map 5513 in Improvement District No. 9
Dear Deputy Building Official:
Subject to the developer’s successful completion of the on-site water and sewer facilities, and subject to the
availability of water from the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, the District can and will
provide water and sewer service to the subject project. This approval is only for the issuance of building
permits and is only good for two years from the date of this letter. At this time, no further inspection of the
on-site water and sewer facilities is needed by SMWD to enable the City t o release the certificate of
occupancy. However, The District still reserves the right to inspect the on-site plumbing and backflow
prevention when necessary. Use of self-regenerative water softeners is discouraged within the District and
application for use at this site has not been approved.
The following fixtures will discharge to the Sanitary Sewer:
•1 Hand Sink
•2 Floor Drains
•1 3-Compartment Sink
•3 Toilets
•1 Urinal
•1 Floor Sink
•1 Mop Sink
Should you have any questions or desire additional information, please call the Engineering Counter at

This message came from outside your organization.
The Golf course has completed their 6” tie-inn to our existing 12’’ sewer line and has
built a 6” clean out instead of 48’’ monitoring manhole. The changes will be reflected
in final plans; due too multiple other utility conflicts we were not able to install the
monitoring manhole and had to switch to a 6” cleanout.
Thanks
