I have added in the conditions for use of generators in the special event conditions for the Smoke Show event. I will be walking the site with them on Thursday and will be confirming the necessary safety requirements for the generators while I am there. There is nothing
further that they need to submit to us for permitting of the generators.

Hi Lelani,
Please have Andrew from OCFA reach out to me on this. We simply need to confirm if they need to have a submittal to review/approve and issue a generator permit separately, or if they will do the generator inspections in the field,
based on what they already have.
For Building approval, there was information missing from the generator plan, which I mentioned last week. We need to have notes on the plans and clarification regarding the distribution wiring, devices and equipment.

Lisa from your office has been great but we are now at a point where I need your help.
We have 5 temporary generators for our “temporary event”. First we were asked to do a plan, like a temporary construction site… so we had power trip do that and build very sophisticated plans to drop 5 temp generators. It’s on
building permit Permit #B25-0632.
Then we were told we now need to fill out a document for fire to come and inspect but the document being reference is for a temporary construction site. They shared that they have already included the conditions for generators
in my current fire permit (attached). I talked to Fire and he said it’s already on his conditions and what is being asked for is not typically requested for a temp event.
I’ve included Andrew Miller for OCFA on this communication so you can tell us exactly what else we need from fire. As you know our event is this Saturday. I already have OCFA set up for an onsite inspection on Thursday at 2:30
and the generator inspection was part of the conditions.
Please advise if this will suffice or what else is needed to ensure we can get approval to have temp power at our event.
