Should the customer or outage requestors cancel the crew work within 24 hours of the schedule date or on-site, the requestor will be billed a non-refundable fee for SDG&E’s efforts. 24 hour notice is defined as one business day. Fee for cancelling service order work with less than 24 hour notice is $430. Fee for cancelling service order work after the crew has left the yard is $1103. To minimize the electrical outage, you are advised to schedule a morning disconnect with an afternoon reconnect. Please consider SDG&E requires advance notice to schedule a crew. Also, City/County inspection must be received prior to 2:00 p.m. on the same day as the disconnection of service to allow SDG&E crews enough time for reconnection of service on the same day. SDG&E is unable to reconnect the service without receipt of inspection on the new panel.
