A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN
CAPISTRANO, CALIFORNIA APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE PLANNING
COMMISSION'S BYLAWS ARTICLE 5, SECTION 5.1, ITEM 5.1.1.
Whereas, the Planning Commission has conducted a thorough review of its
Bylaws and identified appropriate revisions to amend the date and time for regularly
scheduled meetings; and,
Whereas, the Environmental Administrator has determined that the project is
exempt from review and is not a project under State CEQA Guidelines Section 15378(b )(5)
because it involves an administrative activity involving process only and would not result in
any environmental impacts; and,
Whereas, the Planning Commission has considered the Environmental
Administrator's determination pursuant to Section 1507 4 of the California Environmental
Quality Act (CEQA), has considered all project environmental documentation and technical
studies; and,
Whereas, the Planning Commission conducted a public meeting on May 11,
2021 and introduced an amendment to the Bylaws pursuant to Article 11, Amendment to
Bylaws; and
Whereas, the Planning Commission conducted a public meeting on May 25,
2021 to act upon the amendment to the Bylaws pursuant to Article 11, Amendment to
Bylaws.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Planning
Commission of the City of San Juan Capistrano hereby approves the amendment to Article
5, Meetings, Section 5.1 Regular Meetings, 5.1.1. Time and Place of the Planning
Commission Bylaws changing its regular meetings to every second and fourth Wednesdays
at 5:00 p.m. as more specifically set forth in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated
herein with the first Wednesday Planning Commission meeting occur on Wednesday, June
23, 2021.
