ORGANIZATION: Vice-Chair Lopez called the Regular Meeting of May 23, 2023, of the Cultural Heritage Commission of the City of San Juan Capistrano to order at 4:31 p.m. ROLL CALL: CULTURAL HERITAGE COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Commissioners Paul Lopez,
Anna Dickinson, Kristina Perrigoue, and Jan Siegel. COMMISSIONER ABSENT: Ann Ronan
STAFF PRESENT: Laura Stokes, Acting Principal Planner Agenda items are presented in the originally agendized format for the benefit of the minutes reader but were not necessarily heard in that order.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Commissioner Lopez led the Pledge of Allegiance.

CONSENT CALENDAR: Commission Action: Moved by Commissioner Siegel, seconded by Commissioner Dickinson, to approve consent calendar item C1 by a 4-0 vote.

1. Verbal Update discussion regarding preservation month, activities/events, fundraising and outreach Ad Hoc Committee (Project Manager: Laura Stokes, Acting Principal Planner).
Vice Chair Lopez provided a presentation of Ad Hoc Committee past actions. All Commissioners discussed plans for 2024 Historic Preservation Month. No one provided public testimony. Commission Action: COMMISSIONER Lopez made a motion, seconded by
COMMISSIONER Dickinson, for staff to agendize further discussion on Historic Preservation Month activities for 2024 at the next Cultural Heritage Commission meeting. The motion passed by a 4-0 vote. ROLL CALL:
