Dear Honorable Mayor and Council members,
I am writing to thank you for next fiscal year's increased investment in programming at the Boys and Girls Club. The Club
is an incredible asset to the community. When their programming was limited due to pandemic restrictions, we felt the
impact in the neighborhood and were reminded of its importance.
As you know, Unidos seeks not to duplicate services or compete, but to fill gaps, so we regularly refer people to existing
resources, especially the Boys and Girls Club! In fact, at Día del Niño we were so pleased with the club's participation and
their generosity in giving away 40 free club memberships! Yay!
So once again, thank you for allocating additional resources for the club and continuing to invest in our community's
youth.
With Hope for a Better World,
Heather Chapman
